This Entity Was Created To Establish An Indemnity Fund Program, Which Will Mitigate Up To 90% Of Financial Losses Suffered By Producers Of Corn, Sorghum, Wheat And Soybeans When A Financial Failure Prevents Grain Buyers From Paying For Sold/Contracted Grain Or Delivering Unsold Grain. The Entity Was Enabled Under Hb1840 Passed In 2011, And Operates Under The Rules Of The Texas Agriculture Code, Tile 3, Capter 41, Subchapter 1 And The Texas Admistrative Code.
