We Were Also Able To Ensure Voices From The Region Were Heard In The Policy Spaces At Un, In The Region, And Globally.1. Initiative: Enhancing Asia And The Pacific Voices And Perspectives Through The Funding From Ajws At The Regional Level, Arrow With Other Youth Co-Conveners Continued To Engage In The Asia Pacific Forum On Sustainable Development Spaces, Through Organizing The Apfsd Youth Forum For The Third Consecutive Year. Arrow Convened Her 3Rd Apfsd Youth Forum, Entitled ''empowering Young People And Ensuring Inclusivity And Equality In Asia Pacific'' From The 21 - 23 March In Bangkok. We Have Seen Incremental Outcomes In The Organizing Of The Apfsd Youth Forum, Including Bringing Diverse Youth Organizations, And Youth Leaders, But Also Facilitative Multi Stakeholder Dialogues In These Forums And Enabling Youth Voices. The Participants Consisted Of 15 Scholars Funded By Arrow And Also Included Participants From A Vast Range Of Diversity As There Was Representation From Young People As Young As 17 Years Old And Young Persons Living With Hiv. The 80 Participants Were Shortlisted From At Least 500 Applications. The Forum Continued The Discussion From Last Year''s Youth Forum, Focusing On The Implementation Of The Agenda 2030 In Asia-Pacific Especially With Regards To The Sdgs On Education, Employment And Climate Change. Through Their Participation, The Youth Participants Developed A Call To Action Echoing The Voices, Concerns And Demands Which Were Discussed Over Three Days. The Recommendations Presented In This Call Address The Key Gaps That Leave Out Young People From The Overall Progress And Neglects Their Needs. In Addition, The Asia Regional Youth Festival, The First Of Its Kind, Took Place From 11-13 September 2019, Brought Together Almost 85 Youth Advocates And Activists From All Over Asia. The Festival Enabled Cross Country Learning And Sharing Through Creative Spaces That Involved An Art And Photo Exhibition, Poetry Recitals And Dance, Screening Of Documentaries, Among Others. Creative Artists Were Invited To The Festival And Shared Dialogues, Monologues And Other Forms Of Creative Expression To Share How They Used The Medium Of Art As An Alternative Method Of Advocacy. Journalists From The Region Also Attended The Festival Which Enabled The Festival To Be Covered Nationally And Regionally. The Festival Was Inaugurated By The Deputy Minister Of Education And The Deputy Minister Of Women From Malaysia Who Both Addressed Short Keynote Speeches Along With The Ed Of Arrow To The Participants, Emphasising On The Importance Of Comprehensive Sexuality Education And Awareness Of One''s Own Bodily Rights Among Others. The Asia Youth Festival Was Successful In Connecting Minds In A Free-Spirited Environment And Enabled Great Learning And Sharing Among Youth In The Region. The Key Output Is That The Festival Kicked Off The Building Of A Strong Movement Of Young Leaders That Is Geared To Actively Implement The Sdgs Using A Combination Of Capacity Strengthening, Advocacy And Youth Movement Building Trajectory For This Youth Festival, Where Young People Were Trained On Leadership, Issues Of Intersectionality And Sexuality While Creative Spaces Such As Exhibitions Providing A Critical Space For Sharing Of Knowledge, Insights, Lessons Learned And Ideas To Promote Young People''s Srhr.
