The Philadelphia Mmultiple Myeloma Networking Group (Pmmng) Is An All-Volunteer, Member-Led Cancer Support Group For Multiple Myeloma (Mm) Patients And Their Families. The Activities The Group Has Conducted Have Included: - Education Programs On All Facets Of Living With Mm - Open Discussions Among Members On The Practical/Emotional Aspects Of Living With Mm - Providing Resource Materials On All Aspects Of Living With Mm From Diagnosis To Treatment, Financial To Nutritional Aspects, Emotional To Family Aspects And - Supporting The Race For Research Program By Participating In An Annual 5K Walk/Run Fundraising Effort To Raise Money For Mm Research These Programs Have Been Facilitated By Relationships With Other Non-Profit Organizations Like The Lls, The Mmrf And The Imf Who Have Provided Speakers, Printed Materials, Workshops And Teleclasses Free Of Charge To Members Upon Request. All Face-To-Face Programs Have Been Conducted At The Ralston House, The Regular Meeting Place Of The Pmmng.
