Women''s Health Amethyst Women''s Project (Awp)Offers Programs And Services That Include Community Presentations,Health Communication And Public Information Activities; Community-Wide Events On Worlde Aids Day, National Black Hiv/Aids Awareness Day, National Women And Girls Hiv/Aids Awarenss Day; National Hiv Testing Day; National Week Of Prayer For The Healing Of Aids, And National Latino Hiv/Aids Awareness Day. In Addition, Awp Organized On The Anniversary Of Super Storm Sandy A Community Wide Event Titled "A Night Of Reflection" And Our Yearly Holiday Events For Christmas And Thanks Giving. These Events Provided Us With A Platform That Enabled Awp To Generate Information Regarding Services To Post Sandy Victims; Allowing Awp To Reach A Wide Range Of Individuals Impacted By Super Storm Sandy. As A Result Awp Conducted On Site And Off Site Risk Assessments, Intakes And Referral Services To To Individuals And Families In Crisis. During This Period, Awp Provided No-Cost Services To More Than 2,500 Individuals While Coordinating Efforts With Other Community And Faith-Based Organizations, Local Businesses, Schools, Civic Organizations And Government Agencies.
